Hello everyone! As I stated in my introduction, a large goal of mine was to become a certified run coach. And I finally did it! Prior to receiving my official certification, I have been training friends and family to successful races as well as fitness goals. I have successfully coached athletes towards running a 5K without stopping after years and years of nagging injuries and almost no running in those years. I have also helped runners snag personal bests in the 5K to the half marathon. Currently, I am coaching myself towards a (hopefully!) marathon personal best. While I realize that coaches need coaches, I also realized that I wanted to test out some of my personal techniques to find what does and does not work, to ideally serve my athletes better. I will be sharing my personal journey on other posts, though. This is about YOU!
I truly enjoy working with athletes of all abilities, from beginners to those that could be chasing a Boston Qualifying time. As a runner myself, I understand that we all go through seasons in life and training needs to allow room for that. If you are coming back from an injury, are just getting started, or wish to get faster at any race distance, I am so excited to work with you!
While I love working with people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, the coach/athlete relationship goes both ways. You have to be comfortable with my philosophy and personality, too! To begin, I like to consult with athletes first. Find out your goals, experience level, training history, and explain my methods to you. Send me an email with any questions you may have and I would love to set up a call to discuss specifics. If you feel that you and I could be a good match, then we will set up the specifics of your training as well as payment options! Here is a list of specific training that I am currently offering. Feel free to take a peek and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
